Harbor Scene Brooch

This is an oval shaped pin or brooch made by Meissen in the 19th. It is handpainted with a superb harbor / merchant scene in the center something I have never seen on a pin! Superb detail and colors. The porcelain has a silver metal frame that is marked 800 on the back. The pin on the frame in the back is a bit longer than the brooch so it might not be the original one!? Works fine though. The porcelain is in superb condition and so is the frame which is oxidized something that could easily be taken care of one wishes. The piece is marked underneath with the blue swords mark as well as an impressed number 3 and 8. The entire piece is 1.625 inches wide by just over 1.25 inches tall. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
