Harlequin w/ Rabbit Figurine

This is a superb harlequin figure made by Meissen in about 1900. I do believe he was first designed by Eberlein in 1737 and is the hardest one to find even in a fairly modern version plus one of the nicest I think. The harlequin is sitting on a rock base with his trusted dog by his side. He has his rifle between his legs and is holding a rabbit by the ears - his latest catch I guess :) The figurine is painted with a superb jacket typical of the harlequins, is wearing a cape and a black flowing hat. The dog has black spots and the bunny has brown fur painted on it. All in all an amazing piece that just speaks to you! The figurine is in perfect condition which always helps. The figurine is 4.5 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 3 inches deep. The figure is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark underneath the base as well as the usual impressed numbers of the period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
