Hausmaler Prunus Blossom Cup & Saucer

This is a great cup and saucer made by Meissen in about 1740. No impressed number under the saucer and maybe one under the cup but I can't make it out. Either way the set is decorated with the raised prunus blossom decoration on the underside of the saucer and around the side of the cup. Gold trim to the top edges, the handle of the cup and around the foot of the cup plus the prunus blossoms are hand painted in green blue and yellow. Since the cup is a bit out of round from when it was fired and the saucer has a small black firing spot on top I suspect that the set was decorated by a Hausmaler most likely either Franz Ferdinand Meyer or Johann Friedrich Metzsch though I would heavily lean towards Meyer since he liked the prunus blossom pieces. Both the cup & saucer are in superb condition without any issues other than what I already mentioned in terms of shape and the firing spot. Both pieces are marked with a nice early version of the under glaze blue crossed swords underneath as shown. The saucer is 4.75 inches in diameter and 0.875 inches tall. The cup is about 1.5 inches tall and has a diameter of about 3 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
