Hentschel Plate

This is a great porcelain plate made by Meissen in the early 20th century during the original period for this design. It is handpainted with the famous Flügelmuster aka Wing pattern designed by Rudolf Hentschel around 1901. A stunning design that seems so simple but you try to come up with a classic like this :) One of the most popular 20th century designs by Meissen! The plate is in perfect condition. It is 1.375 inches tall and 9.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. of this period. There is an overglaze 35. and a script T incised. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
