Horse & Rider Figurine

This is a great figurine of a horseman riding his stallion made by Meissen in the 20th century. The figure is hand painted superbly and modelled perfectly just as we expect from the top maker. The figurine is in great condition with damage to the spurs, the top of his whip and part of the reigns as well as a few leaves. SInce the damage is minor and the reign damage is to the back the piece displays perfectly! The figure is marked underneath with the underglazed blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed marks including the model number 2635 and a painter's number. The piece is 7.25 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide and 7 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
