Kakiemon Butter Pad #1

This is a rare little butter pad made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period of the late 1920's and early 1930's. It could also be a miniature saucer and I personally will use it as a soy sauce dish :) It is hand painted with a nice polychrome Kakiemon design of a phoenix bird in red with the usual Kakiemon style flowers below it. Quite nice especially on such a small scale! If you collect doll or children's size items this is a must have! The piece is in perfect condition. There is a gold dot on a firing spot from when it was made. It is marked on the underside with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot between th tops as shown. The piece is just over 0.625 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.25 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
