Kakiemon Butter Pad #2

This is a rare little butter pad made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period of the late 1920's and early 1930's. It could also be a miniature saucer and I personally will use it as a soy sauce dish :) It is hand painted with a nice polychrome Kakiemon design of a colorful bird with Kakiemon flowers under it and a really nice red and puce trim to the rim with a bit of gilding to it and a gold trim to the edge. Quite nice especially on such a small scale! If you collect doll or children's size items this is a must have! The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked on the underside with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot between the tops and a red painter's number as shown. The piece is just under 0.75 inches tall and has a diameter of just under 3.25 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
