Really Interesting Kakiemon Saucer

This is a superb porcelain saucer made by Meissen around 1740. A really well hand painted piece in the Kakiemon style with a brown trim and what I ahve never seen on a saucer this piece has the Sulkowski relief to the underside as shown. Parts of the design are reminiscent of the Chinese Butterfly design but it is different. I have only seen plates with this decor never a cup and I cannot find another one to figure out what the cup would look like. Either way - this piece is superb. A really nice and early piece. The piece is in superb condition with only the most minor of wear. It displays perfectly. The dish is 1 inch tall and 4.75 inches in diameter. Marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as shown. By the mark I would ahve said this piece is earlier than 1740 but along the foot ring there is an impressed dot which is likely a former's mark and an impressed number 6 or 9. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
