Kakiemon Tea Caddy #2

This is a nice tea caddy or tea jar with its lid made by Meissen in the 20th century. It is nicely hand painted with one of their Kakiemon style designs of flowers and a bug on white ground. A larger design to the front, a smaller one to the back with single flowers to either side as well as the top of the lid. Nice gold design to the top and a gold trim to the edge of the lid. The teacaddy is in good condition with a rough spot to the edge of the lid and a shallow chip to the bottom side edge of the main body as shown. It displays perfeectly and is stunning to look at! The piece with its lid in place is about 3.875 inches tall, 2.625 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep. The piece is marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords as well as the usual numbers as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
