Large Floral Bottle Stopper #1

This is a bottle stopper made by Meissen in the early to mid 19th century. It is in the form of the smaller perfume bottle lids but much bigger with the top being a pink rose with the stem and two leaves. I have not seen this shape before. The porcelain top is fixed to the original cork by a metal piece that goes all the way through with a thin end piece holding it all together. All original still. Unlike the corkscrew mechanism ones you cannot look for the mark here but it is guaranteed to be Meissen! The cork is old and was used but should still work! The porcelain top is in great condition with some tiny chipping to the rose petal edges. The entire piece is 3 inches tall. The cork is 2.125 inches long and the porcelain top is 1.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $249
