Pheasant Hen w/Chicks Figurine

This is a large version of a figurine of a female pheasant aka pheasant hen made by Meissen in the 20th century. Unlike the male version which is almost identical to the miniature version this one here has three baby chicks roaming the base underneath her. The mon is pretty similar to the small version herself but that addition is jsut superb. She is standing on a white base with the babies in the front under her. There are two males and one female chick. Doesn't get much cuter than this! The bird is very well modelled and hand painted to perfection!. Amazingly it is in perfect condition. The piece is marked with the blue swords underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers of the period. Also a painter's mark 23 as shown. The figure is just over 6 inches tall including its tail, 3.125 inches deep and 2.25 inches wide. I have her matching male on the site as well! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
