Large Superb Bowl

This is a really nice large display dish / serving bowl / charger made by Meissen during the 20th century. This size in this design is not something you see often at all. The piece is decorated with four floral arrangements done in relief in the paste and then gilded which is mostly matte in color with tooled shiny details. The rim has a relief design to it as well with the same type of gilding but what really makes the design "pop" is the polychrome floral arrangement in the center. It makes this a very elegant looking plate. A really stunning look! The piece is in superb condition. A couple small firing imperfections ground down at the factory before being decorated. Normal to their larger pieces like this and not considered flaws or damage hence it still being a first choice piece. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue swords mark (first choice) as well as the usual impressed and painter's marks, etc. as shown. The dish is 2.5 inches tall and 12.25 inches in diameter. So a really nice large and useful dish! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
