Marked Blue Onion Knife & Fork #3

This is a nice porcelain handled knife and fork set made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century. They are both visibly marked which is rather rare to see! Both porcelain handles are decorated with their famous under glaze blue onion ( Zwiebelmuster ) design. Each has the crossed swords mark on the end of the handle as shown. The set displays perfectly but the fork has some slight cracks near the ferrule that are stable and jsut at the very edge while the knife has about an inch long hairline going down the handle from the ferrule end that is very hard to spot and very tight. A bit of oxidation to the metal on either pieces which is to be expected. They are still a nice example to have especially with it being a matching set. The knife is about 8.125 inches long while the fork is about 7 inches long with the visible porcelain being about 3.125 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
