Bird on Walnut

This is a bird (a bluetit I believe) made by Meissen in the 19th century. It is pecking at a walnut that it is standing on and it superbly handpainted with lots of detail! It is in superb condition with just a tiny bit of wear in two spots on top but one needs to look very closely to see it. The piece is marked with the blue swords underneath. It also has an incised 798 and 94 underneath and a red number 43. The bird is 3.5 inches tall, 3.75 inches long and 1.75 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
