Harbor Scene Plate w/ Yellow Ground

This is a superb plate made by Meissen in the later 20th century. It is hand painted with a harbor / merchant scene surrounded by a fancy gold, puce and red trim. Another fancy gold trim along the edge but my favorite part is the yellow ground color to the underside rim! The piece is quite rare as this type of design is not made foten anymore. Most date to the 18th century when they were first made. So this is a rare chance to own a piece in perfect condition! or a more modern one and looks very much like the original 18th century ones! The plate is just under 1 inch tall and 7.875 inches in diameter. Marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) as well as a some red and impressed numbers as shown. Attached hanger to be able to hang it on the wall safely. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
