Mid 18thC Bird Scene Serving Bowl

This is a serving dish / bowl made by Meissen in about 1750. A nicely made piece with a relief design to the rim broken up by four little bugs with four more large bugs along the edge of the well and a few tiny ones scattered about but the best part is the superb large bird scene in the center including two birds sitting in a tree with some greenery around them. Nice quality hand painting. Gold trim to the very edge of the rim. The piece is in superb condition with some minor wear and and one high point on the rim having a tiny chip to it gilded over to hide it almost perfectly. The piece display superbly! The dish is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark on the underside as well as an impressed number as shown. The bowl is 2 inches tall and 8.5 inches in diameter.
