Small Perfume / Scent Bottle

This is a superb perfume / scent bottle made by Meissen in the mid 18th century. It has a nice shape to it with some scrolls in relief and is smaller than most I have seen of this model. The piece is hand painted very nicely with two floral arrangements as well as some single flowers scattered about. It still has its original stopper attached with a chain which is a treat. Not sure what metal this is made of but looks to be gold washed silver. The piece is not marked underneath but the unglazed bottom and the style and color of the flowers makes this easy to identify as Meissen from about 1750. The perfume bottle is 3.75 inches tall to the tip of the stopper, 1.625 inches wide and 0.75 inches deep. The piece is in great condition with some roughness to the bottom edge but it was made that way. Two shallow tiny chips to mostly the underside probably also from when it was made. Some minor wear to the gold wash but it displays perfectly. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
