Grapevine Relief Saucer

This is a nice blanc de chine saucer made by Meissen around the mid 18th century. The top of the saucer is just simply plain and white but the underside is nicely decorated with the grape vine or trailing vine pattern in relief. Not one you see very often at all - like the rarer cousin to the more common prunus blossom design. The white pieces were more valued than the painted ones during this time since it showes off the porcelain they were so proud of. The dish is in perfect condition. The saucer is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as an impressed number as shown. It is 5.25 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches tall. Price is $349
