Strawflower Saucer w/Flaw

This is a saucer made by Meissen in the mid 18th century. It is hand painted with the famous strawflower pattern which was very popular back in the day and still is to this day. Almost all makers did a version of this. The saucer is in great condition but does have this weird brown line flaw to it under the glaze. Not a crack or hairline or anything like that. I suspect there was a flaw to the glaze somewhere and the coffee got into it and made the stain but it could be from when it was fired. Not sure. Still a nice early example! The dish is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords underneath as well as a blue painter's makr and an impressed number as shown. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.125 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $69
