Boy w/Large Basket

This is a figurine of boy / young man with a pinwheel in his hand made by Meissen in about 1750. A really nice figurine with the boy being nicely dressed with a pink jacket and purple pants. He has a bag on his back, the pinwheel in his right hand and a large straw hat or basket in the front. Typical base for this period with gilded scrolls. Very well modeled with lots of nice detail as one would expect from a Meissen figurine. The figurine is in great condition with a small chip to the tip of the jacket corner and his left hand/arm was worked on as was the basket. Very well done and I cannot tell what exactly was restored. Amazingly that pinwheel is still in perfect condition which is fun! He displays perfectly! The bottom of the base is flat and filled with only the air hole in it. The back of the base is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords as shown! The figure is 4.5 inches tall, 2.375 inches wide and 2.125 inches deep.
