Pedestal / Base

This is a great base / pedestal for a figurine made by Meissen in about 1750. The piece has a nice shape to it and is decorated in relief with some nice detail including faces that remind me of the mythical faun creatures and some gold trim. I have a figurine that comes with this exact same base but they are one piece. Apparently they also made it separately which doesn't surprise me. It would make a nice addition to a smaller figurine! The pedestal is in perfect condition with jsut a small flaw from when it was made as shown. Not obvious at all and it displays perfectly! The bottom of the base is flat and unglazed. No mark but it is very obvious that it is a Meissen piece from this period! The base is just under 1.5 inches tall, 2.25 inches wide and 2.25 inches deep. The top area is about 1.75 inches wide and deep so any figurine would have to have a base with that size maximum. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
