Miniature Chicken on Nest Figurine

This is a superb miniature figurine of a chicken / hen sitting on her nest made by Meissen in the 20th century. Super cute! The piece is superbly modeled and hand painted with lots of detail. The figure is in perfect condition which is always a bonus. The figurine is just over 1 inch tall, 1 inch wide and 1.625 inches long. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers and the remnants of a painte's mark as shown.
