Miniature Male Pheasant Figurine

This is a miniature figurine of a male pheasant (known as cocks just like chicken) made by Meissen in the 20th century. The bird is quite colorful and cute and is very well modelled and painted with it sitting on a little base with some grasses painted on it and a flower to the front. The pheasant is hand painted with lots of colors and really quite nice looking with its tail up in the air. Amazingly it is in perfect condition. The piece is marked with the blue swords underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers of the period. Also a painter's mark 23 in black. The bird is 2.25 inches tall including its tail, 1.625 inches deep and 0.875 inches wide. I have his matching lady on the site as well! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
