Miniature Lady with Muff Figurine

This is a superb and rare true miniature figurine made by Meissen in the 1750's. These are the earliest miniatures you can find by them and they are really fun pieces to look at and even though they are tiny they show the typical Meissen quality! The figure is of a lady dressed in winter clothing with her hands in a muff to keep them warm. The skirt has some amazing flowers on it and the mudd has fur painted on the sides plus lots of more amazing detail. A well modeled piece and extremely well painted even down to the beauty mark on her face like the Cindy Crawford of her days :) She is in perfect condition with just two spots of wear to the black covering her shoulders. Very minor and she displays perfectly! The figurine is 2.375 inches tall, 1.25 inches wide and 1.125 inches deep. She is marked on the back of the base as shown and quite obviously Meissen! Please email me for more information or other pictures.
