Miniature Cobalt Blue Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a cute little piece - a true miniature / doll / child's / toy sized cup and saucer set made by Meissen in the later 19th century. Both pieces are decorated with a cobalt blue ground color as well as a hand painted floral arrangement on white ground surrounded by fancy gilding. More fancy gilding along the outer edge of the saucer and inside rim of the cup. A bit of gold trim to the handle as well. A very unusual and rare piece to find. The dark blue and gold combination is one of the best there is I think and this size you never come across! Really a stunning little set! The cup & saucer are in perfect condition. The saucer is just over 0.5 inches tall with a diameter of 2.625 inches. The cup is 1 inch tall with a diameter of 1.625 inches. Both are marked underneath with the under glaze crossed swords mark (first choice) as well as some sort of incised marks as shown that I cannot make out but are common on pieces from this period!
