Miniature Urn

This is a miniature urn made by Meissen around 1750. It is handpainted with a two floral arrangments, one on either side, four small flowers and a nice gold trim. The flowers are already of the Deutsche Blumen style but the colors of the leaves and the way the rose was painted is indicative of being from around 1750 which fits the paste and mark. The little piece is in great condition with a teeny chip to the top inside rim and a little wear to the gilding. The vase is 2.125 inches tall and 2 inches in diameter at the top. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords that are straight. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
