Pendant in 18K Gold w/Necklace

This is the nicest of these pendants I have ever seen or owned! It was made by Meissen in the early 20th century and is hand painted with a superb floral arrangement on a white ground in the center with the surrounding being cobalt blue ground with a nice gold design over that. One finds these in some nice sterling silver mounts but rarely ever in an 18 Karat gold mount like this if ever. Especially one this large as it is the largest pendant I have seen as well. Plus (as if you need more) it comes with a nice 18K Gold necklace as well. Doesn't get any better than this! The mounts on the pendant are superb - a bit fancy but not too crazy and not flimsy at all but nice and thick and sturdy. Even the way the little piece that holds the necklace is attached is sturdier and nicer than any other I have come across. Someone really went all out. The porcelain piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue swords mark as shown - 1st quality and the silver is marked 0.750 as far as I can tell or at least something in front of the 750 plus a hallmark of sorts that I really cannot make out. The necklace is marked 750 as well. The set is in perfect condition. The pendant 0.1875 inches thick, 2.75 inches tall with the necklace attachment and 2.125 inches wide. The necklace is 11.75 inches long when closed. I weighed it with my not very good balance it and it showed it to be 1/2 ounce but might be a little less or more since it is not very exact. I would assume the gold on the pendant is at lest another 1/4 ounce. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1249
