Miniature Penguin Figurine

This is a really fun miniature figurine of a crested penguin made by Meissen in the later 20th century. Super cute! I have not seen this model before so definitely not a common one! Just a really fun piece. Nicely modeled with nice detail and hand painted to perfection! The bird is standing on a simple base with its flippers stretched out to the sides. The best part are the so called crests over each eye to give it some nice detail! The figurine is in great condition. The piece is 2.375 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 1.125 inches deep. The bird is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as the usual impressed numbers and a painter's mark in red as shown.
