Canary Bird Figurine #1

This is a figurine of a yellow canary bird made by Meissen in the 20th century. It is nicely modeled and hand painted and a little more colorful and detailed than some of the others they made. This bird here looks looks straight ahead with its beak slightly open. The bird is sitting on top of a tree stump that has a single elegant flower on the front as well as some grasses painted to the side and back. The figure is in perfect condition! It is marked underneath with the under glazed blue crossed swords mark (1st choice) as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. as well as a black 41 as the painter's mark as shown. The bird is 4.125 inches tall, 1.625 inches wide and 3.625 inches deep. A really cute version of this popular bird. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
