Small Kakiemon Flower Pot

This is a rare small flower / cache pot / jadiniere made by Meissen in during the Pfeiffer period of the earlier 20th century. It has a really nice shape to it with the wavy top edge, cutouts along the base giving it a bit of an Art Deco touch and a relief design to the paste along the bottom but the best part is the Kakiemon design hand painted to the mid section. It looks amazing and there is even a little bug painted on the backside. Gold trim to the edges. The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) with the dot between the tops as well as the usual impressed / painter's marks as shown. The pot is just over 3.25 inches tall and 3.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
