Pink Dragon Butter Pad

This is a rare little butter pad made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period of the late 1920's and early 1930's. It could also be a miniature saucer and I personally will use it as a soy sauce dish :) It is hand painted with the Court Dragon pattern in pink and gold. A really nice looking design especially on such a small scale! (In Chinese culture pink holds the same meaning as red so this would be for good fortune and joy. If you collect doll or children's size items this is a must have! The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked on the underside with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot between the tops and a red painter's number as shown. The piece is 0.75 inches tall and has a diameter of just under 3.125 inches. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
