Animal Scene Plate #7

This is a superb plate made by Meissen in the late 19th century or early 20th century. It is hand painted with a superb scene in the center of a majestic Stag in a landscape surrounding. The rim has three different bugs/insects painted on it and a gold trim to the nicely shaped edge. The plate is in perfect condition which is always a plus and marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers of this period. The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 9.75 inches in diameter. I have listed a few other matching plates with different animal scenes if anyone wants a pair of a set. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $649
