Platinum Painting Plate

This is a rare large plate made by Meissen in the late 19th century. It is hand painted with one of the nicest and also rarest decorations the platinum and gold flowers on a cobalt blue background. The edge has three different relief designs reminiscent of waffles and a nice gold trim all around. The plate is in perfect condition with. No chips, etc. It is marked with the underglaze crossed swords mark underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. and is 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 11.25 inches.
