Polychrome Floral Porcelain Handle Knife #1

This is a a nice porcelain handled knife made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century. The porcelain handle is hand painted with two very nice floral arrangements as well as two single flowers as well as two bugs and a bit of gold trim to the ferrule end. The porcelain piece is marked but mostly hidden under the ferrule. I have some other pieces from this set without the blade and the mark is clearly visible on those. The knife is in great condition with some oxidation to the blade. The ferrule appears to be made of silver. The blade is marked J.A. Henckels Solingen as shown. A rare chance to get a Meissen porcelain handled knife! The piece is about 8 inches long with the visible porcelain being about 3.125 inches long. It is about 0.625 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
