Polychrome Utensil Handles

This is a nice porcelain handle for a utensil like a knife / spoon / fork made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century century. There are nine in all but I will sell them individually or as a set. Each porcelain handle is hand painted with two very nice floral arrangements - one on either side as well as a two single flowers and two bugs as well as a gold trim along the top where the metal ferrule would sit. The opening of the top is rectangular in size as shown. The pieces are marked with the blue crossed swords on top where it would usually be hidden by the metal collar. There is also a painter's number 28 in black on some. Each piece is in perfect condition and ready for a new metal part. One does not find these often at all! The handles are about 3.375 inches of which the top part where the metal collar would sit is about a quarter of an inch. Each is about 0.625 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $99 per handle
