Quatrefoil Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a small cup and saucer made by Meissen in in the mid to late 19th century. Both pieces have a really nice shape to them that one does not see often. Superb handle shape on the cup as well! The set is hand painted with two larger polycrhome floral arrangements each plus some single flowers and bugs fill in the rest of the space. The edges and handle have a gold trim to them. The porcelain on the cup especially is really nice and thin. A very delicate set that looks amazing. The set is in perfect condition. The saucer is 1 inch tall, 5.5 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep. A bit of a quatrefoil type shape to them. The cup is 1.75 inches tall, 3.125 inches wide (plus the handle that sticks out another 0.5 inches) and 2.875 inches deep. Both pieces are marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords (first choice) plus the black painter's number as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
