Floral & Relief Design Cup& Saucer

This is a very nice early cup and saucer made by Meissen in about 1750. Both pieces are handpainted with lots of floral arrangements as well as a nice relief design to the paste in between. The cup has an attractive handle shape highlighted with a puce design which only adds to this elegant set! Nice brown trim to the edges. The set is in superb condition with a little wear to the brown trim, one flower and some tiny nibbles on the footrngs though they seem to be original to the making (and I mean that!). The saucer is about 1.25 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. The cup is 1.875 inch tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. Both pieces are marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark as shown with the saucer also having an impressed 52. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
