Rare & Amazing Bracelet

This is a very rare bracelet made by Meissen in the 19th century. The center of each section has an oval porcelain medallion that is hand painted. There are alternating pieces - four being hand painted with polychrome flowers on white ground and the ones in between are hand painted with that superb cobalt blue ground color with some fancy gilding and a really nice polychrome floral arrangement on white ground in the center. The porcelain pieces are mounted in 835 silver mounts that are very fancy. It is a stunning looking piece that I ahve never seen before. The porcelain pieces are marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords - 1st choice - as shown. The silver is marked on the clasp as shown. It closes perfectly and has a chain at the end for extra prtoection should the clasp fail I guess. The bracelet is 7 inches long when open. Each section is about 0.25 inches thick. The little floral plaques are 0.5 inches tall and 0.375 inches wide while the cobalt ones are 0.5 inches wide and 1 inch tall. When the clasp is closed the inner diameter of the bracelt is about 2.25 inches. Obviously your wrist is not round so it fits ones that is about 2.75 inches wide and 2 inches thick. The piece is in great condition with a little wear to the gold trim on the cobalt blue pieces as shown. Slight oxidation to the metal. The bracelet diisplay superbly and looks amazing! I have never seen another so it is a special for sure. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
