Restored Collie Dog Figurine

This is a hard to find figurine of a Collie dog made by Meissen in the early 20th century. Made during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period it is superbly modeled with lots of detail and painted with the rare under glaze high temperature colors of the period. It's a great looking figure and displays perfectly but sadly it is not. The figurine was extremely well restored. Not exactly sure what was done to it but there was definitely work done to three of the paws and possibly one leg. Impossible to tell what exactly was done and it really does display perfectly. Really tiny chip to one ear. The underside is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice)as well as the usual impressed numbers as shown. The piece is 3.625 inches tall, 1.5 inches wide and 5.375 inches long. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
