Single Flower Reticulated Plate

This is a great floral porcelain plate made by Meissen in the mid 19th century. Somehow simple yet complicated and very elegant! It is handpainted with just a single flower in the center but it is large and very well done with lots of detail. Three small flowers along the edge of the bowl part as well as a tiny bug and then the superbly reticulated rim highlighted with a green design and three gold rings. A perfect floral plate! The plate is in perfect condition with just a bit of stacking wear to the white area one has to look for at just the right angle against a bright light to even see at all. Not obvious at all. The plate is 1 inch tall and 9.125 inches in diameter. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords underneath as well as an impressed number that is ahrd to see and a gold 109. which is probably a gilder's mark.
