Reticulated Floral Plate w/ Armorial

This is an interesting reticulated plate made by Meissen in the late 19th or early 20th century. The plate is nicely hand painted with a polychrome flower arrangement in the center as well as two cartouches along the rim with small flowers in it with a third one containing an armorial / coat of arms as shown. Quite interesting and likely made for some sort of Royalty possibly an English Duke looking at the rampant lion and that crown. The armorial is really detailed as is the crown so maybe someone else that knows more about this sort of thing could help. I would certainly appreciate it! The rim is nocely reticulated with a basket weave design to it and relief deisgns around the catouches, A really nice looking plate! If one figures out who it was made for it would be an even more amazing piece! The dish is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first choice) as well as the usual impressed numbers as well as a painter's mark of the period as shown. It is in perfect condition. The plate is about 1.375 inches tall and 9.5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
