Rose Gardener Figurine #2

This is a really figurine of a rose gardener made by Meissen in the 20th century. He is wearing a green and yellow cloth with a touch of gold along the edges while digging in the ground with a shovel, a rake by his side and a tree trunk behind him that has a few leaves to it. Two roses planted in wooden planters to his other side with a nice base with scrolls highlighted with gilding. Some flowers / greenery on the base as well. All in all a really nice looking figurine - very well modeled and hand painted superbly with lots of nice detail. The figurine is in great condition especially for this model that is often quite damaged. The only damage to this piece is a chip to a leaf of the tree trunk which is not obvious at all and a possible chip to a leaf on the yellow rose bush but I am not even sure it is chipped. It displays perfectly and is in the ebst shape I ahve seen for this model. Another plus is that the planters are especially well painted on this figure . The figurine is 4.625 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 2.875 inches deep. It is marked with the crossed swords mark underneath the base as well as the usual impressed / incised numbers and letters of the period as shown.
