Royal Yellow Tiger Plate

This is a rare porcelain plate made by Meissen in 1916. It is handpainted with the superb yellow Tiger made for the Saxon Royal Court. I have not seen this design for the royal court before but they special ordered so many things that's it's impossible to keep track of it all. This is an especially nice design in the center with a few small flowers on the rim and a brown trim to the edge. This plate is in perfect condition. It is just under 0.875 inches tall and 6.25 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords as well as impressed numbers 7 and 82. It has the black writing for the royal kitchen underneath - Koenigliche Hofwirtschaft 1916 so pretty close to the end of the royalty in Germany. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1249
