Scattered Flowers Box

This is a nice little box made by Meissen in the 20th century. Perfect to put your jewelry in it or stamps or whatever else you'd like. I normally know this shape to be for matches with the udnerside lid being rough to use as a striker but here it is smooth and does not have that feature. Both the top and bottom are hand painted with lots of cute very well done little flowers scattered all over with a relief design to the paste along the rim and some gold trim to the edge. The box has a nice shape to it as well. It is in perfect condition! The bottom part is marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark (first quality) underneath as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. as shown. The box is 1.375 inches tall, 3.875 inches wide and just a touch over 2.75 inches deep. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
