Scenic Ecuelle Saucer #2

This is a nice early saucer likely for an ecuelle or soup cup made by Meissen in about 1750. The saucer is superbly handpainted with three Watteau scenes including couples in a landscape surrounding as well as a central floral arrangement in the woodcut flower style. Gold trim to the center well edge as well as a nice fancy one to the rim. The saucer is in perfect condition which is always nice! It is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 6.875 inches. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark as well as an impressed number 6 by the footring. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $699
