Six Gold/White Reticulated Plates

This is a really nice set of six plates made by Meissen in the mid to late 19th century. Each piece has a superbly reticulated rim to it with some gold highlights and the rest is mostly left white except for the occasional small gold leaf or flower in the center to cover up tiny firing flaws. These would look superb during your next dinner! Just stunning and of the perfect size for that sort of thing as well. The plates are in perfect condition except for a occasional most minor of wear. They are about 1.625 inches tall with a diameter of just over 10.5 inches. Each is marked with the under under glaze blue crossed swords mark underneath (first choice!) as well as the usual impressed numbers one finds on Meissen of this period. Simple in terms of decoration but very elegant! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1249
