Shotglass Tray w/Early Marks

This is a fun tray made by Meissen in the 20th century. It is hand painted with their earliest mark the AR for Augustus Rex monogram and the period under it it was used around which is 1720. The tray has a nice shape to it with a thin blue trim along the edge. Originally this owuld have been part of a sake / liquor shot glass set with a carafe but here it is all by itself to either complete a set that is missing the tray or it can be used for anything else one could think of. A great piece for the Meissen collector :) The trayis marked on the underside as shown - first quality and displays perfectly but has a croner with a small restoration which is mostly on the udnerside and almost impossible to find from the top side as shown. The tray is 0.75 inches tall and about 8.5 inches from side to side. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
