Scenic Cup w/ Claw Feet

This is a fun cup made by Meissen in in the late 18th to early 19th century. This Roman numeral I mark was a way to identify different types of porcelain pastes and was used from the around 1774 until 1815. The cup is hand painted with a really nice scene depicting people in a landscape surrounding including a a large tree and a building in the background plus off course a few people and a large and a small boat on a river. The cup ists on three claw feet which is always a nice addition plus it has a nice handle shape to it. The feet are gilded, the handle has some gold trim to it and the inside of the cup is gilded about an 0.75 inches down. A well done piece that looks amazing. Just needs a simple saucer with a gold trim to complete a set or it works perfectly well on its own the way it is. The piece is in great condition with the claw feet having some chips as shown. The underside edge has had a chip ground down and painted over which has yellowed a bit over time. Not obvious when on display and it really looks great even with these minor issues. I showed the side view in that spot and as you can see it is very minor. The cup is 2.75 inches tall (plus the handle sticks up another 0.75 inches) and has a diameter of 2.875 inches with the feet sticking out a bit as well from that. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords, the Roman numeral I as well as the usual impressed numbers. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
