1750 Floral Cup #2

This is a second cup and saucer made by Meissen in about 1750. Both pieces are handpainted with three flowers still in the woodcut style but already influenced by the Deutsche Blumen style so right when the style was switching around 1750. There is also a flower painted on the inside bottom of the cup as well. Both pieces are in superb condition. The cup is 1.625 inch tall and 2.75 inches in diameter and has the number 17 impressed. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 4.875 inches in diameter and marked with an impressed 2. Both are marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark underneath and the saucer also has a painters mark on the footring. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
