Cobalt Rim Fruit Plate

This is a fun little plate made by Meissen during the Pfeiffer period in about the mid 1920's. Yes I realize I added it to the 19th century page so I'll fix that soon :) It is handpainted with superb fruit / berry arrangement in the center with a deep cobalt blue rim as well as a raised design highlighted with gilding along the edge. The plate is in perfect condition. It is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords mark with the dot between the tops as shown as well as the usual impressed numbers, etc. The plate is 0.875 inches tall and 7.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
